Huge news: today my game officially has a name, and a Steam page.
Wishlist Signs of Danger on Steam now!
Seriously, every wishlist increases the odds of this game actually getting finished.
What is Signs of Danger?
Signs of Danger is the official name of the game I've been working on for the last 2 years!
It is a Co-Op Player-vs-Enemies-and-Environment roguelite,1 which basically means you run around a bunch of levels collecting powerups to make increasingly powerful characters until you manage to get off the series of plants you've been dropped onto. Of course, it's both local and online co-op.
It's like taking the crazy physics of Noita and mashing it with the fast-paced gameplay of Risk of Rain - my hope is that the physics makes the early game more interesting, while in-depth gun/ability customization adds depth & replayability.
Similar to Helldivers or Crab Champions, I plan to have sufficient difficulty settings to allow playing it casually at "Broforce" difficulty level, all the way up to "hardcore Noita" difficulty.
There are still lots of open questions! For example, I am still figuring out a gun-ability customization mechanic that's the right balance of accessible and deep, and I do not know yet whether "fight tons of enemies in the late-game" will combine well with the physics-based destruction inherent to the custom falling sand engine I've built.

Now that the Steam page is live, I'll try to make an effort to cross-post to these new-fangled "socIAL me-dia" platforms.
(Not too much though - I hear they make you sick, or something like that?)
That's all for now - catch you next week!
It helps that wishlists are weightless.
It may have an arena Player-vs-Player submode or something - TBD.
